2018 Friday Favorites March 9th

Hi All!

We are trying a new format to spread information.  We hope you like it!  Here is your weekly dose of “Friday Favorites-Stingray Style,” a list of things we think are interesting, motivating, and helpful:

What we are eating-

Hopefully, the weather will be back to normal soon and we can all get outside to enjoy grilling season.  Try this awesome recipe for Greek Souvlaki Skewers that are sure to fill you up and tempt your tastebuds.

What we are watching-

March Madness is coming!  Basketball (Men & Women) and Swimming (Women) NCAA Championships begin middle of next week.  You can catch live feeds for the Women’s NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships online.  Basketball games will be broadcast live on CBS, TNT, and TBS Thursday-Sunday each week through the tournament.

What we are reading-

You never really know what person or moment will be the turning point in your career.  The NBA’s San Antonio Spurs use the phrase, “Pound the Rock” to illustrate this point.  In the new book Hinge, Dr. Rob Bell explores this idea further, and shows how to connect who we are with who we become.

Post of the week-

I heard a great coach once say, “No one sees all the reps a player makes in practice.  All they see is the final score, the final shot, the final time.”  It takes more than just physical preparation.
