WEST Weekly

  Good afternoon WEST families,

Congrats to all of our swimmers that swam at the BBST Last Chance this past weekend. I hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather outside lately, and a shout out to all our senior swimmers swimming at Sectionals this upcoming weekend at KCAC.

WEST Employee Updates

We have good and bad news. First for the good, our Office Manager Amber had her baby on Thursday (3/8). Her name is Chloe and everyone is healthy and happy. Amber will be taking some time off but will be staying connected and returning during the summer.

We are sad to announce that Cassidy, our Lessons Assistant Manager and Lifeguard, will no longer be at WEST after this month. She is transferring schools and starting an internship in her field of study (Exercise Science / Physical Therapy). We wish her only the best as she continues to grow her career and are thankful for her contribution while at WEST.

With Cassidy leaving, we have hired a new Lessons Manager, Michelle, and she is quickly getting familiar with our organization and you will see much more of her around the pool. Over the next few weeks we hope everyone is able to say good-bye to Cassidy and please welcome Michelle to the WEST community.

Please keep in mind the folowing:

Saturday (3/17) Practice Changes:

Senior & Senior Elite: 6-8am

Challenge & Accelerate: 8-10am

Disco & Explore: NORMAL SCHEDULE

Swim-A-Thon Update

Keep up the awesome fundraising everyone! So far we have raised over $2,700 online! For anyone who has donations coming in from another country, they can still donate online, just have them fill in either your address or the pool’s address, as it will not affect credit card donations. 3 Day Weekends

Remember, we are going to give all swimmers 3-day weekends with Friday & Saturday OFF March 23-24, 30-31 and Apil 6-7 (Pre-Co mp will run normal). This is an opportunity for the kids to see friends outside of swimming, participate in other activities, travel, have family time, etc. We will have a small number of group movements, swimmers should start swimming with their new group as soon as convenient, following their last SCY meet.

PASCO Reservations

Hotel reservations are filling up fast and we have just opened up the last few rooms with t queen size beds available. From here on out, there are only king size bed rooms. The link to reserve a room with other WEST families is located here:
