Photos from our annual banquet have been added to the NWAA Swim Team Facebook page. Many thanks to Rachel Chriss and Ray Tong for taking and processing the photos so quickly! Thanks also to the Social Committee and coaches for a fabulous banquet! Congratulations to all of our swimmers for their achievements during the 2017-2018 long and short course seasons!
Swimmers will no longer receive participation plaques or their accompanying year plates during our annual banquet. However, if your swimmer already has a plaque and would like to add the 2017-2018 year plate, please contact Emily Tong at EmTong@yahoo.com to place your order. Each plate will cost approximately 25 cents plus tax and shipping.
Little Fins Swim School / Shadow Valley Sharks
The NWAA Sharks have partnered with Shadow Valley Country Club. The Little Fins Swim School will be a great program for swimmers ages 3-12, with little to no swim experience. The small group classes will make for a great first experience in the pool. The Shadow Valley Sharks will be a great opportunity for younger swimmers to get there first taste of competition in a low-pressure environment. Both programs will begin on June 4. For more information contact Coach John at firstname.lastname@example.org
National Special Olympic Games
Cole Groom has organized a gofundme page and wants to know if anyone is able to help our fellow shark swimmer. Austin Corzine will be participating in the National Special Olympic Games in July, in Seattle. All his costs are covered, but Ms. Corzine does not have the funds she needs to attend and support Austin. If you can help, there is a link below that will connect you to the gofundme page to help Austin and his family!
