New Information! {Splash Dash} Thanks to everyone that came out and supported our team at Splash Dash yesterday! We seriously raised the water level of our JRRC pool! If you find yourself at Learning Express, Rockin' Jump, Rita's, Jamba Juice, Hawks, Roseville Dermatology, or Dutch Bros. sometime soon, make sure to say a big THANK YOU for their support of our fundraiser. If you were not able to make the event, please be sure to check your family folder to pick up your lanyard and brag tag. We will be announcing parent raffle winners, the winning age group, top lap swimmers and top fundraisers in a separate email shortly- stay tuned!

New Information! {Time Trials} Saturday, May 5. The online commitment form for Time Trials is up and running! Log-in to your Team Unify account and declare your swimmers attendance, or visit the event page here. Swimmers will race every event on this day.There will be no relays. Swimmers must declare by April 28!

{Register with NCSL Before Time Trials} All swimmers must be registered with the league, or they cannot swim in time trials or any meets.  Visit NCSL website to register.  You must register as a new swimmer, as all accounts are deactivated from year to year. New Information! {Volunteer Shifts for Time Trials} There are still plenty of volunteer spots available for Time Trials. This is a great way to get complete some hours early in the season without playing catch-up later! Remember, we do not share this meet with another team or their volunteers so we need everyone to step up and help out. General rule: if your kiddo is in the water swimming, we need you to sign up for a shift! Thank you in advance.  Sign up here!

New Information! {Spirit Tent Assistant Needed} Our awesome and fun spirit tent is in need of a helper during Time Trials! Additionally, we're looking for someone to manage the season's Personal Best statistics. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Spirit Coordinator, Anne Siebum.

New Information! {Ready Bench Coordinator Needed} We are still in need of a Ready Bench Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to a lead a team and become an integral part of the Barracudas! Feel free to reach out to Volunteer Coordinator, Kristen Townsend with any questions or concerns.

{Cinco De Mayo “Barracudas Kick-Off Party”} Saturday, May 5, 1:30 PM. We are kicking-off our 2018 Season with a classic Barracuda Pool Party! Our Barracuda Kick-Off Party starts immediately following our Time-Trials on pool deck at 1:30pm with the festive “Los Gallo’s Mariachi Band!”  The famous “Margarita Man” will be looking forward to you coming by to get a refreshing margarita and FUN kid’s drinks! There will also be a yummy nacho bar filled with all your favorite fixings to enjoy! Please have your swimmer bring an old shirt and their creativity over to our TIE-DYE STATION!  In honor of Coach John and his love for FUN-UNIQUE-TIES...  We will be providing a TIE for each swimmer to flare it out and represent their FUN-UNIQUE-TIE ideas throughout the season in his honor! New Information! {Rio Del Oro Invitational} Sunday, May 6. Registration for the RDO Invitational ends April 28. There is an envelope on the den door to collect registration payments.

New Information! {Swim with an Olympic Gold Medalist} Thursday, June 28. Olympic Gold Medalist Jason Lezak will return to our pool again this summer to run a 1-day swim clinic. The Barracudas will be hosting this clinic but it is open to onther clubs as well, so please help spread the word. Registration is now open, click here to register!

New Information! {Coach Hooten Proclamation on the California State Assembly Floor} Monday, April 23,The State of California Assembly honored Coach John Hooten with an adjournment in his memory to honor of his service to the community. Please see the photo below of Coach Sue, her children Julia and William, and Assemblyman Kevin Kiley.

{Declare Your Child's Meet Commitment for the Season} All dual meets are ready to delcare attendance! Access all meets from the Barracuda home page calendar section.

{Champs Weekend} Saturday and Sunday, July 21-22 is Champs Weekend at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. This is a mandatory swim meet. If for some reason you have and extenuating circumstance where you need to be excused please email Champs Chair Liz Williams. There are a block of rooms that have been set up at the Stockton University Waterfront Hotel (209) 944-1140 and the Stockton Hilton (209) 957-9090. Both blocks are listed under Johnson Ranch Barracudas/Liz Williams. This is a courtesy block and available on a first come, first served basis. It is not required to stay in Stockton for Champs. This has been set up as a convenience. Additionally, there are many other hotels in the area.

{High School Swimming} Reminder! High School swimming is not a conflict with the Barracudas. To read more about the bylaws please visit the NCSL website.

{Team Swimsuits} Click here to order your team swimsuit. Additionally, if you want your child's team suit embroidered with the Barracuda logo and/or name, be sure to bring your suit to American Logowear before wearing it!

{BarracudaWear} Click here for all the details about this year's BarracudaWear! Orders placed before April 14 will arrive in time for Time Trials. Orders placed after the 14th will arrive after Time Trials.

{Summer Employment at JRRC} Are you looking for a fun summer job?  JRRC is hiring Lifeguards and Swim Instructors ages 16 and older.  Applicants should submit an employment application, which is available at the front desk.  Pre-employment interviews will take place in March. Those offered a job will be hired upon completion of the required certification program.  Certifications are offered through local park and rec districts, and most take place in the spring, so if you are interested, please contact JRRC Youth Sports Director Jessica Rafanan for more information.
