Meet Schedule for Summer

We highly encourage all swimmers to pick at least four meets to compete in this summer. Not only are swim meets a fun family and team event, it is a way to show off the skills you swimmer has been working on. As I always say, you would never sign your athlete up for soccer and never let them compete in a game.

Here are instructions for signing up for a meet: https://www.teamunify.com/SubTabGeneric.jsp?team=commco&_stabid_=124219

If you have questions, talk to your coach. If you do not want to pick events for yoru swimmer, that is fine. Just log on and declare your swimmer’s intent to swim and save that. The coach will then pick events for your swimmer. If you can only be at a meet for one day, just say that in the notes. IF you can’t make a meet, PLEASE log in and decline entry to the meet. PLEASE!

I have set all meet entry deadline to Thursdays over the summer to help out.

Cortez Training Trip

We are planning a training trip for the Senior and Junior Groups for May 30-June 1 in Cortez. We have rooms reserved at the Retro Inn. We will be swimming long course meters in Cortez’s outdoor pool. We have a couple of minor details to figure out so it is tentatively planned. If your swimmer is in the Junior or Senior group, could you please complete this google form, https://goo.gl/forms/d3qb4yi1j5kEvbVw1so we have an idea of how many swimmers we need to plan for. If you have any questions, please talk with Silas.

Thanks,
