Equipment Bags:

If you are a RACER, Challenger, Regional, or Senior swimmer you should have an individual equipment bag that you keep at the pool for your use.  We have a large number of swimmers that are in these groups that do not have their own equipment.

If you have any questions – please email or talk to Audra.

Poseidon Board Meeting, Tuesday May 1st in the game room at Thorbeckes – 6 PM.

NUTRITION:  After heredity and training, nutrition plays the largest role in the quality of a swimmer's performance.  HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE!!!

Every swimmer should have a water bottle at the end of their training lane.  Swimmers sweat during their workouts; the same amount of dehydration occurs during a swim workout as does a person doing a “dry” workout.  REMEMBER your water bottle every day.  It is just as important as your cap, suit, and goggles.  You wouldn’t come to swim practice without one of them – don’t come without your water bottle.

THOUGHT OF THE MONTH:

"You will come to know that what today appears to be a sacrifice will prove instead to be the greatest investment you will ever make."
