Whether it’s coming early to practice to work on drills, sticking with it when the sets get hard, or being there at the end of the meet cheering her teammates on, Lina is there with a smile and words of encouragement. This year not only did her hard work pay off with a 1st place in the 100 Breaststroke and 3rd place in the 200 Breaststroke at PA YMCA States it also qualified her for YMCA Nationals held in Greensboro, NC. One of a 42 13-year-olds attending the meet, Lina got to compete with some of the fastest swimmers in the country. Way to go Lina!
