Senior News for 5/10/18

This will be a brief edition of the Senior News and will look to send out a more substantive one before the end of next week. It has been a hectic week as many are in the throes of AP testing as well as end of school performances and concerts.  With more on the horizon.

After our first week back in the water where we eased back into the swim of things, we raised the intensity and the swimmers have not missed a beat.  The meet this weekend is one of my favorites as we get a great deal of swimming over a short period of time. For those not swimming this weekend, stay consistent with practice attendance and more importantly practice effort and be sure you are signed up for the Woodbridge and Greenwich meets in June.

If you did not receive the email with the meet information, please let me know ASAP.

We have some practice changes due to the meet:

Ø    Friday, May 11: Morning Only – NO AFTERNOON.

o     However, the pool will be open and lifeguards on duty if you’d like to go in and do a loosen up swim – about 45-60 minutes.

Ø    Saturday, May 12: No Practice

Ø    Monday, May 14: NO Practice – We will use this as our day off.

o     This is also the first time I have given both morning and afternoon off after the Senior Spring Inv but I know many are still dealing with AP tests as well as the final push of school  work as the end of school lingers on the horizon.

With the day off, I hope swimmers will back and ready to get going again on Tuesday.
