With 21 outstanding athletes in attendance, PVA hosted our second home meet of the long course season yesterday at Williams College. Among those participating were first time competitors Zamir Ashraf, Josie Howe, and Lillian Howe who all showed inspiring excitement and had amazing swims! It is always truly wonderful to have the ability to host the Schenectady Sharks and adding the Springfield based PVAA to the meet made for a really awesome experience! We are grateful to all of those who helped make this meet a success.
Congratulations to all of the PVA athletes who competed! As we enter the heart of the long course season it is great to see you all making such amazing strides, working hard and having fun!
Coach Dave commented on the AGII and Senior Group athletes stating, "The group is really starting to get back into shape as we are a month into season. There were a lot of best times, especially for this soon in the year. I am really excited to see what they will do as we approach the bulk of our season over this next few months!"
We look forward to hosting our next home meet on June 9th and 10th at Williams College and hope to see you all in some capacity that weekend!
Happy Mother's Day to all of our amazing and supportive PVA moms!
