Welcome Dale Boston to SPY Coaching Stafff


Dale Boston joined our SPYNATION Coaching staff in the spring of 2018.  He will be our new STrength and Conditioning Coach plus helping out on the pool deck too. Dale brings a lots of passion, expertise, and desire to any group or team!

In 2009, Dale received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education & Sport Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IU of Pa.). He earned his Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology, Health, and Sports Science from IU of Pa in 2015.  In the summer of 2016, he became a nationally certified strength and conditioning coach by National Strength and Conditioning Association (NACA). His education and work experiences with various levels of athletes provides an amazing fit for our SPY program. He is currently a personal trainer for some clients in which he thrives in helping his clients to become a better. He has been doing personal training for over ten years in addition to his other employment. In 2017, he was Urbana University’s Running Backs Coach, plus Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. In 2016, he was a Volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Indiana County YMCA Swim Team. While on IU of PA Coaching staffs from 2014-2016, he was the Track & Fields’ Throwers Coach, then became the Football Team’s Head Strength and Conditioning coach.

 He also played football in college and had many accomplishments throughout his career including a State Championship and Big South championship.

Dale loves to motivate people to be the best they can be. He is excited about working with our team of athletes and wants the best for all of our swimmers! Dale is proud to be a member of the SPYNATION.
