High School Season Results Show Big Improvements
Over the last two weekends, the Senior and Senior Development Groups have had their High School Championship Meets.
The results were exceptional for both groups.
The swimmers swam really fast and almost all had all Life Time Bests.
What was extremely encouraging was how they swam over the last half of their races. The swimmers made the correct choice for speed under pressure. That is the most important part of competitve sports and the swimmers have gotten really good at it.
Caitlin Tan's 200 IM at NCS, dropping 2 seconds and almost winning the Consolaton Final with a great last 50.
Lindsay Ly winning the JV 500 at EBAL, coming from two body lengths back to win by half a pool.
Julia Adey's 500, winning the EBAL Varsity Consolation Final with a 10 second drop.
Dillan Smith's 100 Fly Consolation Final win at EBALs.
Christopher Guidi's NCS 200 and 500 Freestyles that were smart, tough and big time drops. Christopher made Sectionals as well.
Frankie Fitzpatrick's 100 Free LTB in the NCS Consolation Final and going faster again on the Lead-off of the 400. Free relay.
Anne Marie Hancock's 100 Fly making the big Final at EBALs as a Freshman and swimming under a minute for the first time..
Monica Beltran's 100 Back making Sectionals while making the big Final at EBALs as a Freshman and swimming under a minute for the first time.
