For swimmers unable to make it to Morehead City for the ECA Invitational, we are attending the sessions of the TYR Triangle Classic meet at TAC on 16..
Open Water Reminders
1. We are coming to a close on pulling in Open Water Sponsors, as logos need to be sent to the T-shirt and sign companies. Attached is a list of our current sponsors. Also, the Swim a thon will be closed out this week, so reports to USA Swimming can be made. If you know of someone who planned to donate, please ask them to do so now. All sponsor dollars brought in, and all Swim a Thon donations count toward Family Fundraising!
2. Please sign up for a volunteer spot for Open Water! Remember, all families need to provide one volunteer, or risk a fine--we cannot run a safe event for 700+ swimmers without parent support. It's our way of giving back to NC Swimming and to all the other parents who have volunteered at our kids' meets. See the Meets page for the job sign up link and job descriptions.
If you are interested in teaching lessons for the Sandsharks this summer, please let Susanne Cooper know ASAP. Training will be provided; 11-13 can volunteer and 14 & over can be paid.

Regarding the parking map - spots highlighted in orange are available for parking all weekend. The purple highlighted parking area, marked "Sat-Sun Only", should not be used .
