Happy Monday Waterdevils,
What a great weekend of swimming! Saturday the kids swam really well, we had 151 best times recorded. That is fantastic for so late in the swim season. We won the meet quite handily and the good swimming rolled right into Sunday's All-Star Meet. Lots of great swims and best times for the Waterdevil All-Stars. The day was capped by 15-18 boys Reece Foehr and Max Manwaring-Mueller who collectively won 4 of the 5 events in that age group. Max even set the All-Star record for 15-18 Boys Breast Stroke.
This week we will be putting in our last week of high volume, hard training in preparation for the Sleepy Hollow Sea Lions on Saturday. It is a home meet so Waterdevils warm-ups will start at 7:00am. It will be a fantastic day for our swimmers to face the best in the league and challenge themselves to post personal best times.
Finally the Lucas Valley meet is only two weeks away. One of the best events that day is the parent relays. If you would like to participate in the parent relays (they are open to everyone and are designed to be fun, each swimmer only swims one lap) please email email@example.com and let him know what strokes you prefer and what strokes you cannot swim. Parents are welcome to get in the pool at practice the night before to shake off the rust if you'd like to.
