At the Open Water Zone Championships in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Team Indiana included FAST’s own Jackson Carlile and Connor Carlile. Competing in the 13-14 age group, Connor raced to a 6th place finish in the 3K race. Competing in the Open category, Jackson won the 5K Open Water race by a less than 1 second. Both boys then traveled back to Indiana to compete on Saturday and Sunday at our FAST Summer Jam – and had great results here as well. Congratulations, boys!
What a weekend! We are so proud of your athletes for the efforts they put into this past weekend's meets. Thank you to all who contributed to this weekend's successes - though your encouragement and support of these athletes, event support staffing at our home meet, and donations to the Fishers Fire Foundation. Special thanks also to the leadership team for another well-run meet and to the officiating crew. And, a special shout out to the HSE School Corporation for attending to our needs, so we could enjoy a comfortable and healthy meet. Thank you and great job, Tigers!
It was a great weekend of racing and we are excited to see what our athletes do at both the upcoming Z Heat Invite and Enchanted Forest meets. The future for FAST is certainly bright as our athletes reach their goals… and set new ones!
