Two More Team Records Fall at the PVS LC 2 Meet

Two more team records fell at the PVS LC 2 meet.  Carly Lahr set a new mark in the 11-12 Girls 200m butterfly with a time of 2:38.70 and Quinn Zenyuh continued his quest to break all the 8&U boys records with a new mark in the 8&U boys 50 butterfly with a new record setting time of 44.73.  Congrats to both kids on outstanding swims!

As great as thoses two swims were, we also had many other terrific swims at the meet.  Of the 165 swims the team had, 59 best times were recorded for a 36% best times performance.  27 swims were in the top 3 and 4 swims resulted in a 1st place finish.

Ben Brandt finished first in the 13-14 Boys 200m free, Carly Lahr won the 11-12 girls 200m fly with an 18 second improvement, Anna Milewski finished 1st in the 11-12 girls 200m free with a 14 second drop and Michael Salvatori bested everyone in the Senior boys 200m backstroke.  Great Swimming all of you!

Elena Gomez recorded the biggest time drop of the meet with an improvement  of 31 seconds in the 11-12 Girls 200m butterfly and several other kids recorded double digit drops as well.

  • Kyle Diederich (13 sec improvement in the 15&O 200 fly)
  • Bryan Kim (11 sec improvement in the 11-12 50 fly)
  • Lawrence McAllister (13 sec improvement in the 11-12 200 back)
  • Lien Nguyen (10 sec improvement in the 10&U 100 free)
  • Noah Rice (14 sec improvement in the 13-14 200 free)
  • Leo Savitsky (16 sec improvement in the 11-12 200 free)
