Chino Hills SharkFest Meet Results

 Hello Barracuda Families,

This weekend our team traveled to Chino to participate in the Chino Hills Sharkfest.  Our small but mighty team had a great weekend and represented well.  Here is a quick recap of some of the highlights of this weekend:

Max Wilson: JO cut 200 yard breaststroke, -2.33 100 yard Fly

Isaiah Phillips: 1st place in the 100yrd  and 50yrd freestyle CONGRATS on breaking the minute:)

Katherine Wilson: 1st place finishes in 200 IM and 100 yrd Fly, 

Savannah Phillips: personal bests in all four events

Ryan Hotchkiss: Two personal bests in the 50 free and 50 back.  Great job racing in your first 100!!!

Connor Coombs: 1st place finish 30 yrd free -3.10 seconds

Cameron Coombs: 2 personal bests -3.53 in 50 yrd freestyle

Madisyn Coombs: 2 personal bests -3.96 in 5 free 

Kaleb Lech: -15.12 seconds with a personal best in the 200 yrd freestyle

Tommy Fernandez: 3 personal bests 200 free, 50 fly, 50 breast

Blake Gonzales: 2 personal bests in 50 free and 50 back

Cameron McIIroy: 3 personal bests in 50 free, 50 back, 50 breast

Alex Cramer: 2 personal bests 25 back and 25 free

Elijah Phillips: FIRST swim meet:) Way to go getting a red time on your 25 back on your first race.

Gavin Alamdari and Aidan Alamdari competed in their first swim meet in the 50 free and did amazing,

We are looking forward to our next meet with many more barracudas competing.  Please check the swim meet calendar for July.  Coach Johns advanced group who has red and blue time are being asked to attend the CCAQ Summer Sizzle July 13th-15th.  We will also bes attending the STAR SC red white meet the following weekend with coach Monet at STAR July 21st and 22nd.  Both events are on the website.  Please partner with your swimmers coach for events to enter.  Please remember if you started with us last year during summer your USA swimming fees are due again at the end of this month.  Please ensure you do this prior to signng up for the next meet.
