Our second day of action had BTSC in a few less events but strong potential for finals.
Andrew Johnson continued his medal haul securing a second swim and a silver medal in the mens 16 year old 200 Free with a personal best time of 2:04.02.
Jesse Montes crushed his morning 400 IM swim with a personal life time best of 5:18.92 and secured a spot in finals heading in 3rd overall. His second swim proved to be more of a challenge than the morning but fought hard to hold on to points with a solid 4th place finish.
The highlight of the night goes to the mens 4x100 Fr 15 and over relay. Jesse Montes, Matthew Keenna, Jack Serre, and Andrew Johnson all swam impressive splits to edge out Toronto Swim Club to pick up a bronze. Well done boys!
Team scores show BTSC men in 11th place with 123 points out of 44 teams, and the women in 23rd place out of 50 teams. Total medal count after 2 days of competition: 3 silver and 5 bronze.
Third day of competition has BTSC athletes poised to move into finals once again with 200 Fl, 100 Br and 100 Fr to come. Should be lots of action!
