Congratulations to FAST's NISCA All-Americans!

The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) has released their All-American lists for the 2017-2018 season. To earn the All-American honor, athletes must be ranked in the Top 100 from all high school swimmers, whether in public or private school within the United States. Swimmer must also attain one or more of the "All-American" time standards during the year. To be named an NISCA All-American is quite an honor!

Congratulations to the following FAST swimmers and Fishers High School athletes who have earned this honor (listed by event):

  • Diving - Cole VanDevender and Morgan Casey (Top 100 divers are named, not ranked)

  • Girls 200 Medley Relay - Corinne Yorkman, Miya Wai, Nicole Rueff, and Ellen Fero (83rd)

  • 50 Free - Amilia Nusbaum (T-99th)

  • 500 Free - Samantha Hietpas (68th) and Abigail Jahns (96th)

  • 400 Free Relay - Amilia Nusbaum, Abigail Jahns, Kyla Srncik, and Hannah Pratt (49th)

  • 200 Individual Medley - Kyle Haflich (82nd)

  • 100 Fly - Timothy Bennett (75th)

Time standards for the upcoming 2018-2019 season have also been released. Across the board, the time standards for next year are slightly faster than this year's standards. Again, congratulations to each of these High School All-Americans! We are proud of you!
