This Wednesday we will have our annual Swim-a-Lap event. This annual Dolphin tradition challenges our swimmers to swim as many laps they can in an hour while raising money for a good cause. This year we are supporting one of our own swimmers, a Mini Dolphin Jack Nelson who has a daily fight with Cystic Fibrosis by donating funds raised to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Please see our online fundraising tool to submit online per-lap pledges, or simply make a flat donation if your swimmer is not interested in getting lap pledges. Checks are payable to Wellington Aquatic Club. Check and Cash donations will be posted through our fundraising tool which will generate a donation receipt via email.
Swim-a-Lap is held duing regular practice times. This includes Mini Dolphins! We will have healthy snacks for our swimmers and are looking for volunteers to help count laps, donate food items and help with setup/cleanup during Morning and Evening practice. Please click HERE to go to the Swim-a-Lap page. The pledge form is located at the bottom of the page.
We also do a "non-perishable" food drive to help Grace Church keep their Food Pantry stocked. Items they can use are listed below.
