Gator Newsletter - Week 8

Congratulations to all of the Gators who competed yesterday at B Conference Championships!  It was a very exciting meet with incredible time drops and amazing Gator spirit! We are eagerly waiting for the results from Wheaton and will share them with you when they arrive. We've posted many pictures and videos from this meet on instagram - - in fact, I hope everyone will follow us - there are tons of posts on from our entire season!

A big huge THANK YOU to all of the parent volunteers for an INCREDIBLE season of selflessness and commitment to this team!  Whether you were a veteran or new to the team, you all stepped in and were ready to do what was needed. We all worked together to make this the best possible experience for everyone involved, and it totally shows!

CANNED FOOD DRIVE:  PLEASE DONATE! As part of an effort to give back to our community, we are asking our Gators to collect canned goods and other non-perishable items for the Glen Ellyn Food pantry.  There is a large box next to the Gator office to collect items. Please just send these items to practice with your Gators, or feel free to drop them off yourselves! We will be collecting through July 19. Thank you for your support!  The Food Pantry has indicated a greater need for items like the following, but any non-expired, non-perishable items are welcome contributions: Mac&Cheese, canned mandarin oranges or peaches, canned corn, tuna/chicken, canned pasta, ravioli, spaghetti o’s, jarred pasta sauce, boxed pasta, jelly.

Last but not least, Gator Pride award winners this week are pictured below - CONGRATS to these outstanding kids!
