As the US Nationals are wrapping up in Irvine, Califorinia, PVA's own Cole Kuster is warming up in the same facility as he prepares for the start of the 2018 Speedo Junior Nationals.
Cole has qualified to swim three events at this meet which include the 1500 meter freestyle, 400 meter freestyle as well as the 800 meter freestyle. This is a truly awesome accomplishment to have qualified for this meet and we wish Cole all the best as he prepares for day 1 of Junior Nationals. The Speedo Junior National Swim Meet brings in some of the fastest swimmers in the country which will provide for many amazing and exciting races!
Below, please find a link with a lot of great information about the meet, qualifying times, the psych sheet as well as the live stream broadcasting schedule. Cole will swim on Tuesday (7/31), Thursday (8/2), and Saturday (8/4)... definitely tune in and cheer him on!!
Cole has been in California preparing, breathing in the excitement of the air and preparing for this week's events. He was getting a good warmup in this morning and found himself sharing his lane solely with Katie Ledecky while Ryan Murphy observed from the deck. It has been an awesome start to the week and we can only continue to send our biggest and best wishes to Cole as he prepares for an amazing day tomorrow!
