NJB Swimmers Compete at JOs

Congratulations to our swimmers for qualifying for this season’s long course JOs at Rutgers, and on some great swims there.

Jake Riva had a good weekend swimming the 100 Fly and 100 Free, dropping 1.08 and 1.12 respectively off of his best LC times and qualifying for finals in both.

Zach Bezold continued his trend of fast breast swims with a drop of 2.08 in his 100 Breast, finishing 31 of 62 swimmers in prelims.

Sam Russell went after her events, with fast swims in the 100 Free and 100 Fly and also qualifying for finals.

Jake Leddy attacked his 800 Free in his timed-final, besting his fastest LC time by 14.96.

Nicely done Barracudas!

Good luck to Sam and Jake as they set their sights on some fast swims at USA Swimming’s Futures Championships in Richmond Virginia on August 2-5!
