Welcome Aboard! Zach Edwards Added To The Amberjax Coaching Staff

We are excited to announce Zach Edwards as a new addition to the Episcopal Amberjax coaching staff. Zach brings a wealth of swimming experience to our program. As a former Amberjax swimmer, he was a Junior National qualifier and was also the two-time state runner-up in the 50 free (2009-2010). The four-time high school All- American led the Bishop Kenny boys’ team to a third place finish in 2010.

On the collegiate front, Zach swam for Division II powerhouse, Florida Southern University. During his four years, Zach was a 7x All American, 2x Scholastic All American, and broke 6 school records while competing for the Moccasins. Zach was part of two Sunshine State Conference Championship teams and two National Championship runner-up teams. Zach also helped assist coaches, Duncan Sherrard and Mike Blum as he completed his Masters degree in Business Administration/ Economics where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2016.

Zach has been a swimmer/coach for the San Jose Country Club Pool Cats with 18 years of experience in the River City Swim League. Most recently, Zach led the Pool Cats to the River City Championship title as they dominated the team competition winning by over 1000 points.

Zach has a lot of energy and passion for swimming and he is excited about developing young dedicated swimmers that want to take their swimming to the next level. On behalf of the Amberjax coaching staff, welcome back to the Amberjax family!
