Practice Changes

Under the Calendar/Schedule tab of the website is our revamped Practice Changes page.  You can now view practice changes by group.  We will update this document as we find out about practice changes throughout the season.  Please note the practice changes through the month of September, especially for Development, Senior Competitive, Performance and High Performance!  We will try to post changes as soon as we are aware of them.

Access cards

New members will receive their SKSC access cards during the first week.  This will allow you to enter the facility for your scheduled SKSC workouts.  Please let the front desk know you are a new SKSC member and waiting for your access card.

For current members, if you have lost your access card, please email registrar@surreyknights.com with your swimmer’s name and group and we will work on getting you a replacement.  Priority will go to new swimmers or swimmers in higher groups who are at the facility more often first.

If you are swimming or using the facility outside of your regular practice time, please make sure you are paying the appropriate drop-in fees or using your recreation access card.  Cards should only be used to access the facility for your SKSC workouts.

New Swimmers - where to meet

For those who just joined our program, welcome!  You can meet your swimmer’s group directly on the pool deck by the length section of the pool.

Guildford: down by the waterpolo nets

SSLC: by the middle pace clock at SSLC

North Surrey: by the deep end viewing gallery

You will see coaches wearing RED Shirts.  If you are not sure where your group is, ask a coach wearing red!

Team Gear Kits

Team gear kits will be handed out once we receive the t-shirts.  Please have patience as these items are distributed and all swimmers should receive them by the end of September.  Size exchanges will be allowed once a majority of the kits are handed out.

Training Fees

Paying Training Fees by Credit Card

For those returning members, credit cards have already been processed.  For new members, credit cards will be processed Saturday, Sept 15th.  Please let us know by then if you wish to change your payment form or frequency.  Your registration receipt will show which option you picked.

Paying Training Fees by Cheque

For those who chose by cheque as their preferred payment option, I emailed fee sheets shortly after your registration approval.  Please make sure to fill out the form and cheques according to the guide and submit them to your group coach. This is to ensure we associate the cheques with the correct account, and ensure all cheques are accounted for and dated correctly.  A reminder to those paying monthly, September will include 2 months!

FRP/Volunteer Assessments

Volunteer/FRP obligations have been updated online, and for those families who volunteered in July, you can already see those earned points (with a few families already meeting their obligations!).

FRP/Volunteer Assessment amounts will be emailed out at a later date with collection dates in October (with volunteer cheques reflecting any earned July points).  More information will be emailed out closer to.

New Swimmers Assessments

Got a friend interested in joining the club?  A younger sibling? We run assessments on an ongoing basis.   They can sign up here .

Keep your eyes peeled for the first few weeks for more emails and updates, including equipment/Team Aquatic Supplies Night, Awards/Welcome Night, group coaches contacts, fundraising intro, volunteer intro, etc…

If you have any questions, please let us know.
