We are just a few days away from Starting the Fall-Winter 2018-2019 Swim Season. We hope everyone is just as excited as we are to get back into the swing of things!
A few reminders before we get started-
1- Be sure to check the website under group Calendars for Practice Schedule!! Expecially when the varisty seasons are in full swing, there will be a lot of days that practices have to get switched around when we dont have the high school. We try to be as fair as possible. A lot of the meets happen to fall on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so for example Tuesday the younger ones will have off and Thursday the older ones. And then we have some days that schools are closed with Holidays, so we all have to be understanding and a bit flexible. But you must check the website all the time, so you dont end up at the wrong pool!
2- For the first week or two, when we are all just getting back into the season, there may be some movement within groups and although it may seem a bit crazy from the stands (and maybe not as much actual swimming as you would like) , things are getting done. Just have some patience. It will take some time for all groups to be finalized, and for the coaches to make sure that all swimmers are in the correct group.
3- The meet Schedule is being finalized and will also be on the website by the end of the first week.
4- All Fee's are due the first day of swimming!!
A) The Lesson fee to be handed in to the front desk of the Rec (Checks made out to the City of Long Beach
B) The Pool Membership to be handed in to the front desk of the Rec (checks made payable to the City of Long Beach). With the membership, you will get a key tag. This must be Scanned EVERY TIME Your child goes into the pool.
C) The team fee. This is to be handed to your childs coach! Checks made payable to Long Beach Aquatics.
If any of the above fee's are not paid, your child will be turned away from swim Practice.
