Josh Saylor Named Head Coach of Washington Township Swim
Club and North Central High School Swim and Dive
INDIANAPOLIS, September 12, 2018 – Washington Township Swim Club has announced Josh Saylor has been named head coach. In addition, he has been named head coach of the North Central High School boys and girls swimming and diving teams. Saylor has been with the programs since 2015 as WTSC head age group coach and North Central assistant coach.
WTSC operates out of North Central High. Saylor’s promotion comes at the unanimous recommendation of a WTSC search committee and with approval from the club’s Board of Director as well as the North Central High Athletic Department.

Over the past three years, WTSC swimmers have set numerous program records and six records at the high school.
“Washington Township Swim Club and North Central have been my home for the past three years and it is a great honor to continue on as head coach,” Saylor said. “These are two historic programs and I am thrilled to lead them both into the future.”
Prior to joining WTSC and NCHS, Saylor was head coach of Brownsburg Swim Club and the swimming and diving head coach of Brownsburg High for 10 years. His final year there Saylor was named Indiana High School Athletic Association Swimming Coach of the Year.
Saylor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from University of Notre Dame where he was a member of the Fighting Irish swim team from 1994-97. His coaching career began right after graduation as an assistant at Lake Forest Swim Club in Chicago. Prior to going to Brownsburg, Saylor was the head swim coach at Vincennes YMCA (2003-06) and Vincennes University (2005-06).
Saylor is a graduate of John Adams High in South Bend, Ind., where as a member of the swim team he was a three-time MVP and four-time sectional champion.

Washington Township Swim Club is a comprehensive program dedicated to positively developing young people in a fun, diverse and supportive swimming environment at all levels. The club operates out of North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 1989, WTSC operates year-round and offers quality instruction, training, competition and swim lessons.
