WA swimmer sets Middle Atlantic record!

Congratulations to WA swimmer Taiylor Telger for setting Middle Atlantic long course resident and district records in the 50 meter breaststroke.

Over the summer, Taiylor’s time of 34.49, at the Middle Atlantic Junior Olympics, set a MA District record. District records may be achieved by any swimmer at a USA Swimming-recognized competition within MA geographic boundaries.

A few weeks later, at the Eastern Zone LC championships, Taiylor set the MA resident record with a time of 33.85. LSC Resident records may be achieved by registered MA swimmers in any USA Swimming-recognized competition in the United States or abroad.

Taiylor’s 50 breaststroke time of 33.85 was also the 12th fastest time in history for 11-12 year old girls in the United States.

Congrats, Taiylor!
