The Lady Crusaders traveled down 21 Mile Rd this evening to battle Dakota for the Dual Meet Championship. Unfortunately the Crusaders lost the meet by a score of 111-72. The team finished the season 4-1 in the MAC White which is a great accomplishment considering the team was in the Blue Division last year.
The team swam much better than I expected this evening as the intensity at practice has increased and it will continue to increase over the course of the next two weeks in preparation for the Division Meet.
Swimmers attained their season best times in the following events tonight: 200 Free - Sara Bauer & Shelby Kenaan, 50 Free - Jenna Bliss, Megan Schwartz, Avery Brown, Jenna Ciavone & Heidy Borowiec, 1 Meter Diving - Alexa Cusimano, 100 Fly - Gabby Fischer & 100 Free - Rachel Yung, Kenzie Zeiman & Gillian McHugh.
As the team prepares for the Championship season, it is extremely important for all swimmers to be at all practices for the entire duration of practice. It also important for all swimmers to get adequate rest and proper nutrition. For the Lady Crusaders to have an opportunity to defeat Dakota and Anchor Bay at the Division Meet every swimmer will need to be 100%
