Moldovan Wins 50 Free Eliminator

 

The newly branded Okotoks Mavericks hosted the Jack Frost Invitational last weekend.  Killarney sent a strong contingent of 58 swimmers.  The team had a great weekend of racing posting close to 400 best times.  Killarney finished second behind the host club in team scoring.  Killarney swimmers won 63 medals including 19 Gold, 22 Silver, and 22 Bronze.

Leading the way for Killarney was Balazs Moldovan.  Moldovan won all 6 events he raced, including the 50 Freestyle Eliminator.  Rianne Gamayo was the top female swimmer for Killarney.   She won 3 gold medals and a silver.

The team is next in action at the home meet Nov 17, 18, and 19th at Repsol.
