Kamehameha Swim Club won the Hawaii Senior Championships this past weekend in a very competitive event. Punahou Aquatics finished second with Hawaii Swimming Club finishing third. Grace Monahan took the female High Point Award, establishing new team and Hawaiian Age Group records in the 100 Back (55.62), 200 Back (2:01.68), and 200 IM (2:03.48). Kai Flanagan and Kanoa Sawai had the biggest percentage time improvements with Kai’s 4:42.71 400 IM (21.9 sec drop), and Kanoa’s 1:57.88 200 IM (11.01sec drop).
Congratulations to all competing KSC swimmers on an awesome meet. The team is now looking forward to upcoming meets including State Championships on Oahu December 14-17!
