Christmas party  and mini Meet !

On December 10 at 5:00 we will be hosting our first Mini meet of the season. This is an exciting opportunity for all of our  pre competitive  athletes to get to experience a meet! Come and cheer  all of  our  pre comp  athletes on!

On December 15 from 2-4  our annual Christmas party will be held at Superior CVI in the gymnasium. There will be pizza, treats and games! Please sign up under the Holiday party tab on our Bolts Events page. The cost is $5 per child. Also, at the same time we will be holding the Fall AGM from 2:30-3:00 in the room adjacent to the  gymansium . All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

During these 2 events we will be collecting new underwear and socks for the UNDERCOVER PROJECT. This is a great fundraiser where the Bolts always show their true community spirit. All donations can be brought to these 2 events  and will be dropped off at the depot.

Head to head with Michelle Williams

The Bolts are extremely excited to be welcoming Olympic athlete Michelle Williams to work with  all of  our competitive athletes on January 12, 2019. This is an exciting opportunity for all athletes. There will be dryland, classroom and water sessions. Cost per athlete is $55 and there is a sign up on our Bolts Events page. Please be sure to sign up by January 1. This would be an exciting Christmas present to give your swimmer!

Volunteer Opportunities

Once again, it is mandatory for all Bolts families to have one member complete the Introduction to Swimming Clinic in order to officiate at meets. As we have all seen, it takes the whole swim community to run a meet in our City and reduce the number of out of town meets that we attend. There are approximately 80 volunteers needed per session. Our Club hosts 2 regional meets with a total of 6- 12 and under sessions and 9 -13 and over sessions. As in the past, families with children under the age of 12, who are competing in the meet, will be required to officiate or volunteer in some capacity at 5 sessions. Families of athletes 13 and over must complete 7 sessions. Volunteering may include officiating, selling programs, speeding ticket table, hospitality, selling  tshirts  and hoodies, and any other way that you are  helping out  the Bolts! In lieu of volunteering, a monetary payment can be made to the Club. Please speak with a Board member to  make arrangements  if you are unable to fulfill this obligation.

The Board has changed to a more  committee based  structure. If you would like to  help out  with Fundraising, Meets, Sponsorships, Equipment or Promotions we are looking to start these committees as soon as possible. Please email  if any of these exciting committees interest you! As we all know, volunteers are an integral part of our Club.

Another opportunity to help the Club out is with website updating. If this falls into your skill  set  please email  to express interest.

Thanks again to all our Bolts Families who always come together to make this sport the best it can be for our athletes!
