Eight SCM Records Fall at Candy Cane Meet!

AT the Candy Cane Meet this weekend, eight SCM records fell.

Sophia Ecker (PPSC) broke the 10 & Under 50 fly record. Her time of 35.66 broke the record of 35.73 set by Audrey Cohen (PPSC) in 2016.

Audrey Cohen (PPSC) set a new mark in the 11-12 200 breast. Her time of 2:49.84 lowered the mark of 2:56.86 held by Danielle Gravel (SEAL) since 2002.

Ali Bragg broke the 13-14 200 back record. She finished in 2:27.21 surpassing the old mark of 2:30.57 set by Gina Mancini (SEAL) in 2002.

Cole Gorsuch (PPSC) set two records. His time of 2:16.47 in the 200 free broke the 11-12 record of 2:17.43 held by Niall Janney (BBYD) since 2003. His time of 29.83 in the 50 fly broke Niall's record of 30.25 also set in 2003.

Brim Peabody (PPSC) set a new 15-16 200 breast record. His time of 2:31.82 broke Harry Homan's (SMAC) record of 2:37.81 from 2015.

Brady Fluet (SMAC) broke the 15-16 50 back record in the first half of the 100 back. His time of 30.35 broke the record of 32.57 set by Brian Batson (DEFY) in 2007.

Finally, in the 100 split of her 200 free, Emily Ecker (PPSC) swam a time of 58.61 breaking the record of 1:01.27 held by Kait Strickland (SEAL) since 2002!
