FAST Mid-Season Finale Recap

This past weekend, Dec. 7-9, FAST hosted the Mid-Season Finale. This was a three-day meet with prelim-finals on Saturday and Sunday at EPIC for our 11 & over swimmers. FAST swimmers did a great job to earn second swims in finals each night.

The 10 and under swimmers competed in the mid-afternoon session, which was timed finals. FAST had 155 swimmers compete this weekend, and it was a great success. Our swimmers executed quality race skills, which led to the majority of them achieving personal best times.

There were some outstanding performances at this meet as well. For example, Danny Turner won the Mens 15 and over 100-yard breaststroke with a final time of 59.36, and Amber Siverts won the Womens 13-14 100-yard butterfly with a final time of 58.99. There were multiple other impressive races. Great job FAST!

All the coaches were very proud of everyone; the swimmers gave 100% every session and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship all weekend.

A huge thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped ensure this meet ran smoothly. We couldn’t do it without your support!

Next up for FAST is the FAST vs. PPS vs. TOPS Tri Meet on January 5th
