Hello SWAT Families,
We are at roughly the 1 month mark to the end of the 18-19 Short Course Season.
Hosting the Region 5 Meet is right around the corner.
St Augustine and their crew will help us put together another great SWAT run meet. We have a incredible group of dedicated families and I hold us second to none in the State in quality of meets run.
Our incredible Volunteer Coordinators, Ami Jankowski and Jim Beier, are going to move onto other positions and we would love to have you train with them for a few meets and then take over the positions. Integral in meet position planning and working with all team members, you will see what it takes with Jim and Ami helping you. Contact me at MikeMellock@gmail.comand I will get you connected. With the beginning of the Long Course Season, we have our annual meeting. Part of that meeting is election of the Volunteer Board. 3 positions are up each year. The term is 3 years. Board members go above and beyond attending meetings. They work with families and coaches as swim group liaisons. We carry other duties such as event planning, travel, SCRIP coordinating, Team Gear, meet planning and behind the scenes duties. This is an unpaid position. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. WE WORK MEETS. The benefit is helping the team grow and thrive. If you would like to run for a position, please send me a little about yourself and what talents you can bring to the board. Members up this year are Jenn Colon, Sarah Perez and me, Mike Mellock. Please submit any information by February 10, 2019 at 10:00 pm.
