Good luck to all Wisconsin Swimming athletes participating in the upcoming 2019 WIAA Boys Sectional and D1/D2 State Championships. I am pleased to announce, that except for Whitefish Bay, we have the needed volunteer LSC officials to be able to observe all of these meets for possible eligibility of results for inclusion in the USA Swimming SWIMS database.
LSC Coaches should be reminded that results from observed meets are not automatically loaded into SWIMS if eligible. This is due to not having USA Swimming membership I.D.s included with the meet results files we get from the WIAA. So if there are PR times that you would like added to SWIMS, please submit a request to Sara Landolt using a completed Form C-2, as can be found on the " Miscellaneous Forms" of the Wisconsin Swimming website.
As a reminder, our LSC policies do allow for results from certain un-observed high school competition to be used for qualifying for our LSC Championship Meets as follows:
2.7 Entry and Seed Times- LSC Championship Meets
2.7.1 Qualifying standards must be achieved by a swimmer in a meet providing printed or viewable meet results, e.g., meets from which times may be used are any USA Swimming sanctioned, approved, or observed meets, high school meets, YMCA closed competition, and NCAA closed competition. High school meets include any season ending meet (Conference, Sectional, State Championship). Conference meets include combined or separate JV and Varsity Conference Championships.
