ESSL Tri meet @ YWCA in New Windsor on Feb 23rd.

This is mandatory for all 12 and under swimmers, but encouraged for all. The events in this meet are picked by the coaches.

ESSL Championships - March 16th @ VAC

This is a championship meet for all ages. However you do need to qualify by meeting the time standards. The time standards are posted on the bulleting board at the pool, but the easiest way is to just go in like you are signing child up for the meet. Click "Edit Commitment" then on your childs name. Once you do that you will see all the events your child is eligible for underneath. It will either allow you to sign up for or it will say "doesn't meet standards". You can sign your child up for 2 events in the championship meet'. Must be registered by March 1st

ESSL Last Chance Meet - March 3rd at Washingtonville

This meet if for those swimmers that have not made the ESSL championship cut times. It is your last opportunity to try and qualify for an event at the Championships. This meet is reserved for those that didn't make the qualifying times, so you can only sign them up for events in which they haven't qualified as of yet. You do need to sign up for this meet by Feb 15th (TODAY)

2019 Silver Championships - Feb 22nd thru 24th

This is a US Championship meet with more challenging cut off times. The times are posted on our site under qualifying times. However the easiest way to see if your child qualifies would be to go to Events then click on "Edit Commitment" then on childs name and then underneath you will see all the events in your childs age group. It will show qualifying time all the way to the right and your childs best time on the left. You do need to sign up by Feb 15th (TODAY)

There are some other meets JO's, Senior Met's, etc.. These meets have very challenging qualifying standards which are also listed on our site. Most of the swimmers that have made these cuts should already know about this. While it is ultimately swimmers/parents job to monitor if they qualify for a meet, the coaches would typically have mentioned to you if you qualified for one of these meets

Please NOTE it is very difficult for the swim board to monitor everything in which our swimmers qualify for. We do our best to pull the data best we can, but ultimately it is on the parents/swimmers to stay on top of this as well. We know for the new parents/swimmers it is difficult, so please don't hesitate to reach out to a board member or to send an email to Vacswiminfo@gmail.com with any questions
