Dr. Dennis Ross and Ross Orthodontics, a platinum level sponsor of East Carolina Aquatics, recently presented every swimmer a towel embroidered with their name and the Ross Orthodontics logo.
Ross and several members of his staff gave the towels to swimmers competing Feb. 10 at the St. Qualifier Meet in ECU’s Minges Natatorium. Swimmers who did not attend the meet will receive their towels at practice.
In addition, Ross’ sponsorship will help ECA purchase a much-needed trailer to store and haul timing touch pads used at all home swim meets. The Ross Orthodontics logo - along with the ECA logo - will be emblazoned on the trailer.
“Dr. Ross’ commitment to philanthropic endeavors, specifically those that benefit children, is unparalleled in our community,” said ECA Head Coach Casey Charles. “East Carolina Aquatics is excited and proud of our partnership with Ross Orthodontics.”
An avid bicyclist, Ross has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local Boys and Girls Clubs through cross country bicycle rides. He also regularly goes on mission trips with his church, St. James United Methodist Church, where he has been a member for more than 50 years.
Ross is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, East Central Dental Society and the UNC Orthodontic Alumni Association. He serves on the Advancement Council of the College of Health and Human Performance at East Carolina University and the Admissions Committee for the ECU School of Dentistry, where he is a teaching faculty member.
Ross and his nine employees have a combined 170 years of
experience in orthodontic care. Learn more at https://www.facebook.com/
