  • Combined events: Distance events may be combined by gender once we complete positive check-in.
  • Parking: Parking passes are required to park in the Dalplex Parking lot on Friday morning.  Each Club will receive 1 parking pass for their Coach; this can be picked up from Bette in the computer room on Thursday afternoon (or Friday morning for those not attending Thursday’s session).  Volunteer timers/officials will receive them from Kelley.  Spectators can park at meters (and pay) or use pay and display anywhere on Dal campus.
  • Facility Rules: Please ensure those on deck are wearing indoor shoes.
  • Hospitality: HTAC will be providing hospitality in the classroom off the deck in the shallow end for all Coaches and Officials.  To be more environmentally friendly, we will be limiting the amount of disposable water bottles available throughout the swim meet. Please remember to bring a refillable water bottle with you to the meet as there will be several water stations available for water refills. We will have volunteers that will be available to refill your bottle for you so you can keep your eyes on the meet! Thank you for your help.
  • Unofficial results will be available on meet mobile and online
  • Web casting will be available during finals only; the URL will be posted on the Swim NS webpage later this week.
  • Canteen: a canteen will be available (cash only) on the upper mezzanine behind the bleachers providing snacks and drinks.  Programs will be available ($10) and heat sheets provided free to those who have purchased the program. A limited number of 2019 David Fry Championships t-shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis ($25)
  • Best Seats in the House raffle – enjoy the action from the comfort of reserved seating, with comfortable seat cushions, throw pillows, and refreshments waiting for you.  Tickets will be available at the canteen ($2 each or 3 for $5).  Draws will take place daily for each session (prelims and finals) at the start of the session warm-up.  Tickets must be purchased and submitted to the canteen prior to the start of warm-up of that session’s draw.  Winners will be announced via loudspeaker at the beginning of the session warm-up, and winners will also be posted in the Best Seats area and at the canteen.  Thank you to our sponsors Manorhouse Furniture and Atlantic Fabric.
  • Jolyn will be on site selling suits all day Friday and Saturday until 4:00pm; they will be in the old lobby. Jolyn offers a unique spin on swimwear design with either a one piece or bikini that stays put while swimming, surfing and being active.
  • Silent Auction – HTAC is holding a Silent Auction as team fundraiser.  Items include event tickets (concert, Moosehead games, Neptune show), massage, spa experiences, golf for 4 at the Links at Brunello, dinners, sports equipment and more.  A limited number of technical and training suits will be sold on a first come, first serve basis (no holds, exchanges or returns).  The Silent Auction will be open for all sessions from Thursday to Sunday, closing after Sunday prelim warm-up.  Winning bids will be payable by the end of Sunday’s prelims session.  If the items are not paid for by deadline, the next bid will be accepted.
  • David Fry Selfie Station – a selfie station will be set up (location TBD).  Props and signs will be available to take fun photos.  Share on social media using #2019David FryChampionships, #NSProvChamps and tag @SwimNovaScotia!
