Pool Renovations

The pool is still on track to complete renovations sometime during April. Currently, we are hearing in the middle of April. When the pool is open and available our practices will move back to the Wasilla pool. Please be on the look out for the official date and for practice time changes during that time. As we get information, we will get it to you as soon as possible. We ask that you be flexible and understanding as we are coordinating communication from many sources on this matter.

Resignation Date Change

Due to unforeseen circumstances, my final date as Wasilla Waves Head Coach is needing to be sooner than I had originally anticipated. The updated date is Friday April 12th. Coach Chris will be starting in the head coach position Monday April 15th. I am sorry that I will not be able to complete the winter season through the Junior Olympic championships as originally planned. I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to coach for Wasilla Waves and to work with your young developing swimmers. I know that Wasilla Waves will continue to grow and have great success with Coach Chris’s leadership and with the support of Coach Ben and Coach Anna. I have greatly appreciated their support and they are invaluable in supporting our young swimmers. I also want to thank the Wasilla Wave Families and board for all their support in volunteering, driving swimmers to practices and meets, and helping young swimmers grow at home too.  I wish all swimmers the best of luck with your continuing swimming careers and look forward to hearing about all your success.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Go Waves!

Coach Hadley
