 Paseo Aquatics shines at Central JOs, finishing 7th overall!

Valencia, CA (March 9, 2019) –  Paseo Aquatics has shined at Central JOs for the 6th-consecutive year, not only taking home a ton of hardware they also finished 7th overall at the meet. Competing against big clubs who have had twice as many swimmers, the small yet mighty team flexed its muscles yet again.

All swimmers had an outstanding performance despite swimming in frigid temperatures and pouring rain all weekend. Some swimmers had MONSTER drops in time, notably:

Tori Heiney in the 50 Back going 38.57 dropping 6.81 seconds from her previous best time.

Samyra Benoit in the ever brutal 200 FL went 2:29.29 dropping 7.42 seconds in her first championship meet.

Brett Bezanilla in the 100 FL going 1:22.86 dropping 8.24 seconds from his previous best time.

Daniel Jo in the 500 Free going 5:12.35 dropping 11.03 seconds and achieving a qualifing time for the coveted SoCal JOs.

Daniel Ludlow in the 500 Free going 5:42.09 dropping 11.18 seconds in his first championship meet.

Ethan Ma in the 100 IM going 1:31.09 dropping 11.92 seconds fro his career best.

Fellow groupmate Chase Renno in the 200 Free went a 2:33.78 droppin g 11.94 seconds from his best time.

Blake Gebhardt also in the 1000 Free went 11:22.63 dropping 30.26 seconds and achieving his career best time.

Teia Salvino in the 1000 Free went a 11:09.69 besting her previous time by 49.94 seconds.

Also, we would like to acknowledge all the high-point swimmers. These are the swimmers who scored the most points in each age-group for our team.
