Swimmer Drop-off: There are two athlete drop-off circle areas. 1847 Neil Ave. (closest to the Friday evening athlete entrance) 337 Annie & John Glenn Ave. (athletes should proceed under Scarlet Skyway bridge up ramp towards McCorkle Aquatic Facility)

  • Ten (10) lanes will be used for this meet except on Friday when two (2) pools will be used and for the 1000Y on Saturday and 1650Y Sunday
  • Deck safety: McCorkle Aquatic Facility has two access points to the deck.
    • Parents are not allowed on deck unless they are working that session as a volunteer.
    • SWIMMER’S CHECK-IN PROCEDURE Swimmers will receive their lanyard/badge from their coach. Coaches should plan to distribute the badges on Friday. Swimmers will not have access to the deck beginning Saturday AM without their badge. Swimmers are not to enter the pool deck through the lobby on Friday only. They need to go to the Southeast door near the Neil Avenue Garage. A volunteer will be there to let them in on Friday. 
    • Starting Saturday morning, Athletes will access the deck from the main lobby. Access however is limited to athletes, coaches, and meet workers with the provided lanyards or other designation.
    • Starting Saturday morning Athletes will be required to have their lanyards to access the deck. Coaches should be handing these out on Friday or Saturday morning.
    • On Friday only, Athletes need to access the building from the Southeast door outside near the Neil Avenue parking Garage. Look for the signs.
  • Parking: See below for more details. Do not park in the Neil Avenue Garage on Friday.
  • Admissions: $5 cash only per session or $15 for the whole weekend. Wristbands must be worn at all times. Please have small bills.
    • Admissions is located outside the main entry doors to the right. Heat Sheets: $5 cash only per session.
  • Concessions: Will be available throughout the meet for your enjoyment in the main lobby with pizza from Adriatico’s.
  • Coolers, noise makers, drones and balloons are not permitted. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.
  • Photography: No flash photography at the start. No photography of any kind at any time from behind the blocks. Please see our professional photographers in the lobby, ProSwim Visuals for stunning pictures of your swimmer.
  • Results: Will be posted in the spectator seating area to the left of the pool on the brick wall.
  • Northwest Designs: Located on the lobby level for all your custom t-shirts
  • Kelly’s Poco Loco Swim Shop: Located on lobby level outside the spectator area. Poco Loco will have all your swimming needs available for purchase. They are a local small business—be sure to support them!
  • TYR is providing water bottles and lanyards for HOT HEATS that will be announced throughout the event. 
  • EVENT CHECK-IN There will be positive check-in for the 500 Free, 1000 Free, 1650 Free and 800 Free Relay events. The check in sheets will be at the scorer’s table and check in is required by 9:30 AM each day. Swimmers who do not check-in and then show up for the event will be allowed to swim only if space is available. New heats will not be created after the positive check-in time has passed.
Location for the Officials Meetings:
All meetings will be held in large room under the scoreboard, which is on the North wall.  The door to the room will be marked, but approximately across from Lane 3.  This will be a secure area to leave your belongings, if you so choose.

TIME TRIALS Time Trials will be offered after each session on Saturday and Sunday as time permits. Eligible swimmers must be 12 the first day of nationals and a 2019 YMCA Zone Meet participant to enter time trials. The fee will be $20.00 per individual event and $40.00 per relay. Swimmer must be attempting to achieve a YMCA National qualifying time. Swims in Time Trials do not count towards the daily 3 Individual Events limit but only 1 Time Trial event is allowed per swimmer per day.

Parking Friday (before 4:00pm) – March 15th, 2019 – The Neil Avenue Garage and the 12th Avenue Garage are NOT AVAILABLE FOR EVENT PARKING. While these garages are in close proximity to the pool, the Neil Avenue Garage is for staff only (no visitors) until after 4 p.m. on weekdays and the 12th Avenue Garage is for hospital use only. DO NOT TRY TO PARK IN EITHER OF THESE GARAGES ON FRIDAY BEFORE 4PM.

Lane Avenue Garage – 2105 Neil Avenue and Tuttle Park Place Friday (after 4:01pm) & All Day Saturday and Sunday – Parking will be available at the Neil Avenue Garage at a flat rate of $5 per entry to the garage.

Neil Avenue Garage (closest garage to McCorkle Aquatic Facility) 1847 Neil Avenue Your Patience Please – There will likely be a line formed to exit, so please exercise patience when exiting the garage. Always have your exit card available if you paid in advance. If you did not pay on the way into the garage, please pay at the “Pay on foot” kiosk prior to pulling your car to the exit line. Paying by credit card will allow transactions to occur more efficiently than cash transactions. Those that wish to avoid the possibility of experiencing a wait to exit the garage, or who would like to pay a flat rate, should park legally in an A, B, or C parking space in the Ohio Stadium lot (unrestricted spaces only) and pay the Pay-n-Display machine by credit card before parking or by registering the license plate of their vehicle as with a visitor pass through the CampusParc website before parking. Parking cards should be displayed as directed for Pay-n-Display. For vehicles whose license plate is registered online no placard will be provided. Neither the OSU facility nor the YMCA receive any revenue from parking fees. Prices are determined and retained by CampusParc, a third-party provider to OSU. Parking arrangements are subject to change based on the university activities. *Please note that in the parking garage, all parking is head in only. Meaning you will get a ticket if you back into your parking spot. There are signs posted in the garage stating this fact. LYST is not responsible for your ticket if you choose to ignore this warning. 

CONDUCT AND RESTRICTIONS: The Meet Referee reserves the right to dismiss any swimmer, coach and/or spectator from the competition due to inappropriate conduct.

• Deck access is limited to only registered and approved coaches, swimmers, and working officials and volunteers with appropriate lanyards.

• Except where the venue facilities require otherwise, changing, into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited. The USA Swimming Rulebook defines Deck Change as: Changing, in whole or in part, into or out of a swimsuit (excluding a drag suit) in an area other than a permanent or temporary locker room, bathroom, changing room or other space designated for changing purposes while at a practice, competition, or other pool-related activity.” This includes slipping off the top of a one-piece performance suit to place on an alternate bikini top immediately following a race.

• There is no shaving permitted on pool premises: this includes locker rooms and restrooms of the Natatorium.

• There is to be no use of oils for swimmer rubdowns.

• Glass containers of any kind are not permitted in the pool area or locker rooms.

• Coolers, noise makers and balloons are not permitted. • Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.

• Vandalism of any nature will be just cause for team disqualification.

• Teams are expected to police their team areas at the end of each session.

• All swimmers are required to wear some type of footwear when they leave the pool deck. • A designated person shall be responsible for the supervision and conduct of their team members. • Swimmers are not permitted on deck until a certified coach is on deck.

• Bleachers are available on deck for swimmers. No chairs, blankets, sleeping bags, etc. are permitted on deck.

• Smoking, Alcohol and drugs are prohibited in the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion

• Photographs may not be taken behind the block during competition and warm-ups.

• Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms, behind the blocks or locker rooms in accordance with USA Swimming Rules.
