USA Deaf Swimming Launches Fundraising Campaign for 2019 National Deaf Team
USA Deaf Swimming is launching a fundraising campaign to support our athletes, coaches, and staff attending the 2019 World Deaf Swimming Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Unlike the US Olympic and Paralympic Teams, the USA National Deaf Swim Team does not receive financial support from USA Swimming or the USA Olympic Committee. Therefore, our athletes must raise their own travel funds, approximately $5,500 per athlete, for participating in the competition. 
USA Deaf Swimming is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. So donations made to the general fund of USADS to support athlete training, travel, and competition are tax deductible. Donations can be made in honor of or in dedication to a specific individual as well, and donors can elect to cover the transaction fees for the donation.
