Head Coach Brad Robbins has been selected by USA Deaf Swimming as the head coach for the World Championship team for 2019! Coach Brad has worked previously with USADS National Team member, and 2018 Deaf Sportsman of the year, Matt Klotz, as well as Deaf American Record holder Sydney Bello. Coach Brad will represent Team USA and travel with a team of 16 deaf athletes to Sao Paolo, Brazil in August, where they will compete in the World Deaf Swimming Championships!

USADS swimmers come from all over the United States. They are all members of USA-Swimming, USADS, and the USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF). The USADSF, although an affiliate of the USOC, is not a USOC-funded entity. Able-bodied and Paralympics national team athletes receive training and travel funds, but deaf swimmers do not. This has lead to a requirement for the athletes to each raise $5,500 in order to cover personal training, travel, and accommodation expenses for the upcoming 2019 World Deaf Swimming Championships . As a team, these young Americans must raise an estimated $100,000 all while continuing to train and attend school. The USADS organization is working to offset that burden through fundraising and we are asking for your help.

Any and all support is welcome!
Congratulations to Coach Brad, this is a huge honor!
