GOAL swimmers competed this past weekend in Lincoln at the MWS Short Course Championship Meet. A high percentage of personal best times were achieved (detailed meet report will follow, when times are uploaded to the database). GOAL was the runner-up team to defending champion Lincoln Select Swimming (LSS). GOAL finished closer to LSS pointwise since GOAL won the long course meet in 2009. Final team standings: 1. Nate Germonprez (13-14 boys) and Kody Hollingsworth (Senior boys) won their age group's high point award. Hannah Hailu was runner-up high point for Senior girls. The GOAL women finish atop the overall female point standings. The GOAL men were second behind LSS.
Nate Germonprez broke one of the only MWS records set at the meet, when he won the 100 butterfly in 51.69 (Ryan Tate (SO) 51.90 2012).
