The rain is lingering, but the sun has made a few welcome appearances and will hopefully be a regular event at practice in the near future. Rain or shine, the Waterdevils have been working really hard and have made the beginning of the season great! Last week the swimmers worked doggedly to develop an efficient freestyle stroke and build strength and feel for the water. This week we will continue to pursue those goals, but will integrate more technique work on backstroke and butterfly. We will also be doing more cross-training sets to improve our overall fitness and have fun!
Congratulations to last week's Swimmers of the Week: Patrick Nixon, Andrew Shoemaker, Cayden Yoch, and Annie Hamel. They really showed the consistent effort, attention, sportsmanship, and determination that epitomize our team. Great job, kids!
Don't forget to RSVP for Pizza Bingo this Friday! This is one of our super awesome events for kids of all ages. Get a slice of pizza and a beverage, and relax with friends while playing the Sport of Kings....BINGO!
