Coaching Staff Update
Thank you for your continued participation in and support of the Tigersharks Swimming Program.  As you know, we have a couple of coaching changes starting this spring.
Cary Belyea – Level VI
Cary joined the Tigershark coaching staff last fall.  His coaching experience includes stints at Cincinnati Aquatic Club, Gamble-Nippert YMCA, Cincinnati Marlins, Cincinnati St, Xavier High School and the Butler/Warren County Special Olympics.
While head coach at the Gamble-Nippert YMCA, the team grew from 80 members to over 150 members and won the Southwest Cluster YMCA LC Championship.  Cary coached individual YMCA National Champions, YMCA National Record Holders, Ohio High School State Qualifiers, Junior/Senior National Qualifiers and saw several swimmers go on to successfully compete at the college level.  As the Head Age Group Coach at the Cincinnati Marlins, he was named the ASCA Ohio Age Group Coach of the Year while coaching swimmers to 4 National Age Group Relay Records, the ASCA National Age Group Championship and a Junior National Team Title.
Cary swam locally for the Anderson Barracudas, Blue Ash YMCA and the University of Cincinnati.  He was an Ohio High School State Qualifier, Junior National Qualifier and scored individually at Short Course YMCA Nationals his Junior and Senior years.
Cary is the founder and owner of SwimSafe Pool Management and lives in West Chester with his wife, Patricia and three children, Paul, Daniel and Maggie.
Stacey Tepe – Lead Master Coach
Stacey will become the lead Masters Coach.  Stacey has been an active Masters swimmer for 4 years.  She has been an age group coach for the past 10 years and joined the Tigershark Coaching staff in the fall of 2015 when the Clippard YMCA and Tigersharks started the collaboration.
She is currently and will remain the Lead Coach for the Level IV Practice Group and the Head Coach for Colerain and Northwest High School Swim Teams.  She will also continue assisting with team administration and coordinating our strength training program for Levels V & VI swimmers.
Stacey lives in Colerain with her husband, Masters Swimmer Chris Tepe.  Their daughters Kayley Tepe is also a Masters swimmer and Kerry Tepe is a member of the Indiana State Women’s Swimming Team and former Tigershark swimmer.
Mike Leonard will assist with coaching the Masters program.  While Meredith Griffin will be moving to North Carolina, she will return periodically to assist as a guest coach with our senior and Masters levels.
