The Stingrays had 2 swims in B Finals: (1-10th = A Final; 11-20th=B Final)
Womens's 100 butterfly- Kaleigh Sharkey 1:02.23 ( 1:01.58 in prelims) 20th place. This was a personal best for Kaleigh.
Men's 50 breastroke- Nicolas Machell 30.44 (30.04 in prelims) 20th place. This was a personal best for Nico, and it broke 2 club records.
Maksym Klakov swam a personal best of 52.81 in the 100 free, and was the youngest swimmer at the meet in that event. He was also the youngest swimmer in the 50 freestyle.
Nicolas Machell swam a personal best of 1:07.18 in the 100 breaststroke
Kaleigh Sharkey swam a personal best in a time trial in the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:19.43, securing an additional qualifying time for herself for next year's Olympic Trials.

The most important meet in Canadian swimming, the 2019 Canadian Swimming Trials is this week- April 3- 7th at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

The Newmarket Stingrays will have 4 swimmers racing: Samantha Anderson (age 22), Maksym Klakov (age 16), Nicolas Machell (age 18), and Kaleigh Sharkey (age 20).
