Hello LFSC Friends,
I leave for the Masters Golf tournament tomorrow and I’m really looking forward to the trip. This whole adventure was made so much sweeter by your thoughtful gifts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My good golf pal, and LFSC alum swim parent, Laura Carson secured the “impossible-to-get” member tickets and will be with me on the trip. She has been to the Masters a couple of times and will be an excellent tournament guide 😉 .
My cancer is responding to chemo/immune therapy for now which is the best I could hope for. I am coping with the side effects of these treatments— “chemo fatigue”, hair loss, e.g.—and some issues with my lungs and abdomen. I have a good medical team and I’m doing well.
I guess none of us know what the next day will bring, but I’m so thankful that my next day is at Amen Corner!
Thank you and Love to All,
P.S. follow the Master’s to learn where Amen Corner is!
