All of these changes and updates are also reflected in the club's Google Calendar.

We now have our team records published to our website in PDF, XLS and JPG format. A number of records have been broken this year by several swimmers in short course and long course. Please see the link below for more information:

SBSC has competed at three meets in the past few weeks. The reports from the coaches on those meets are below.

Our latest NovaTech meet was a real success. Congratulations go out to Jaidyn Peterson for moving to age group and getting her AA time in 200 IM, along with Melanie MacLean. Way to go, girls!

Gabriel Vitkin moves to NT 1, and Savannah Jamieson finished 1st in 200 IM for NT Level 1.

All of our swimmers took off time in at least one event, and many improved their times for all of their events.

Next stop: The NovaTech Explosion in Truro on the weekend of May 11-12!

AA SCM#3 -- March 30-31st in Sydney

We had two swim meets over the weekend of March 30th: AAA at Dalhousie and AA on the road in Sydney, Cape Breton.

Despite the fact that we were off over the March Break, the Bluefins posted personal best times at both meets.

Faith Piro swam 3 AAA times and has graduated to the AAA competition squad -- way to go!

Once again, our girls relay team did not disappoint, placing first in both heats. Our boys also were able to do a relay.

The most excitement was off the pool deck, as my daughter had her baby boy Saturday, just before the meet started!

We had a great time in Sydney and would have loved to stay longer. We're really glad we attended.

AAA LCM#3 --- March 30th at Dalplex
The Dal AAA Long Course meet Saturday afternoon was a relatively quick meet.

Alex Bouchard lowered 2 club records and posted numerous PB's.  All in all a good showing and respectively decent times from our club.  We have now begun to focus on our upcoming meets in May.

PS from Dustin: Coach Angela will be away from the pool this Mon and Tue due to a family health emergency with her father. All of our love, thoughts and best wishes are with her and her dad at this time.
