Phenomenal Championship Season!!!

Congratulations to the Piranhas on a remarkable and landmark championship season!!  Below is a brief recap and a few highlights from each of the accomplishments, however a huge thank you each and every family associated with the Piranhas both past and present who has helped to continually elevate our team to new heights!


For the first time in team history the Piranhas won the Adirondack Gold Championship!! A tremendous accomplishment 10 years in the making that featured contributions from swimmers age 7-18 years old it was truly a team effort across the board.  Highlights include:

  • Boys 13-14 Medley Relay of Chenxu Xiang, Brayden Henkel, Jaden Homan, and Liam Marshall breaking the Adirondack Record
  • High Point Trophy Winners:
    • 10 and under girls- Sophia Gao (1st),  Hannah Harpootlian (2nd)
    • 11-12 girls- Tia Jack (1st), Samantha Sands (2nd)
    • 13-14 boys- Jaden Homan (3rd)
    • 15-18 girls- Emma Hoffman (1st)
    • 15-18 boys- TJ Bearor (1st)
  • Over 40 new team records set!!!

Speedo Sectionals

A super showing @ Sectionals by the Piranhas with a Top 5 finish in Buffalo (2nd in the past 3 years)!  Congratulations to all of the athletes on a monumental weekend, highlights include:

  • CHAMPION 800 Free Relay team of Kaleb Hotaling, James Jordan, TJ Bearor, and Scott Ward!  This quartet would follow that up with two additional Top 3 finishes in both the 400 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay and an additional Top 3 finish by Zack Lassetter, Kaleb Hotaling, James Jordan, and TJ Bearor in the 400 Medley Relay
  •  First every Futures Cut was acheived by TJ Bearor who joins Alice Han, Shauna Killane, Kaleb Hotaling, Neil Horne, and Kyle Verstandig
  • Top 10 finishes by Alice Han, Shauna Killane, TJ Bearor, James Jordan, Scott Ward, Zack Lassetter, and Kaleb Hotaling

Short Course Age Group Championships

Formally known as Eastern Zones, Piranhas Sophia Gao, Samantha Sands, and Liam Marshall represented the Piranhas well throughout the weekend to put a bow on the season.  Leading the way was Sophia Gao with 4 top 10 finishes and a slew of new Piranhas records!
